VOLUNTEERING FOR
LIFE STREAM FOUNDATION
Looking for a volunteer position without the pressures and hassles?
What does your volunteering do for us and our members?
Life Stream Foundation provides access to sport and recreation activities to people with an intellectual disAbility. We currently have a great team of approximately 80 volunteers working across South East Queensland, Brisbane- Noosa- Toowoomba-Gatton –Mackay and Rockhampton. Our weekend activities are staffed by volunteers, which enables our organisation to provide services to people that would normally not have the opportunities to get out and have fun.
Program Support Volunteers
We need people to provide support to our members by participating on our activities and providing supervision so our members enjoy our activities in a safe, appropriate manner.
You could be going to Movieworld one day and Africa the next. Check out our latest Spirit Program Guide on the 'What's On' page.
People you will be supporting may need assistance with participating in activities, driving our 12 seater buses (standard driver licence required), organising meals, handling money and staying with our group.
No program costs to Volunteers.
All Volunteers are required to undergo criminal history screening.
